Tracy Laabs, PhD
Following a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge (UK), I transitioned to scientific program management and support for high risk, high payoff neuroscience and neurotechnology projects both in the United States and now as the Assistant Director of the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering in Geneva, Switzerland. The Wyss Center is a non-profit focused on providing the expertise, research infrastructure and project funding to accelerate innovative research ideas in neuroscience and neurotechnology into novel solutions for pressing clinical issues.
Throughout my research and professional career I have had the privilege of promoting strong peer-reviewed science and supporting science and technology development toward the better understanding and improvement of mental health. It is with great enthusiasm that I join the Women’s Brain Project, to help bridge the research community with society at large, and push for a greater focus on the development of novel technologies and therapies specifically aimed at improving women’s mental health.
